  • Full Time – Ongoing Position : VOCATIONAL EDUCATION & TRAINING COORDINATOR

Clontarf Aboriginal College is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Teacher – Vocational Education and Training (VET) Coordinator.  The VET Coordinator will provide educational leadership in the development of VET programs within the school and the wider community. The successful applicant will work as part of a highly committed and dedicated team supporting students in their senior schooling journey and subsequent post school transition to employment, further training or further education. The successful applicant will promote the value of VET and endorsed programs with staff, parents and the wider community.

The successful applicant will have oversight of VET/ Endorsed course enrolments, resulting, compliance and meeting of deadlines with SCSA, RTOs and school wide processes. In addition, the successful applicant will provide educational leadership and support the performance of teachers in relations to VET and Career programs, working closely with the senior school team.

Using effective change strategies, the successful applicant will lead the school community to develop opportunities for improved service in the area of Vocational Education and Training (VET), including but not limited to exploring student opportunities in VET profile, ASBT and SBTs to maximise student outcomes.

  • Full Time – Temporary Position (1.0FTE) : TEACHER – General Subjects

Commencing 11 October 2021 to 31 December 2022

Clontarf Aboriginal College is co-educational Catholic Aboriginal Boarding School based in Waterford that caters for Indigenous students in Years 7 – 12.

The successful applicant will have experience planning and delivering modified programmes to Year 7-12 students in general subjects such as English, HASS and Religious
Education. Primary Teachers are also encouraged to apply.

Applicants must have all necessary qualifications and be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic Education.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants are also encouraged to apply
